Gunnedah Pensioner Hill project

The combined clubs of Gunnedah have been working with Mick a local Elder and have enlisted some stonemasons from Uralla to create a unique park. It celebrates all facets of Gunnedah history from original inhabitants to big mining.
The club welcomed us with a very windy day bbq expertly executed as only Rotarians can.

Wee Waa day two.... Or the Morning after the night before

Rotary is made up of people..... Wonderful.... And often inventive people. We caught up with Rob Britton .... Yes britto .... For short.
After a great look through his business he showed off the work of the plasma cutter. Yes I know it breaches a few logo rules but he knows the full story of the Rotary Wheel. I'm not sure what Rotary International President Tanaka would say....
Perhaps he follows the blog...

Anyway.... I think its rather good..... Seems to encapsulate a lot of what we do. If you are travelling through Wee Waa spend a night.... Club meets mondays at the Wee Waa motel... But I get the feeling they may start a few vocational visits.

Namoi cotton 50 proud years

Rotarian SAD gave heather Geoff and I a guided tour. It is great to see a local cooperative running and even better to see a proud Rotarian at the production helm. Each Gin has flexibility for innovation...... This year... A bumper crop

The canola around Wee Waa looks fabulous

It's the first Rotary sign I have seen that also had 9650 on it. Great time to visit this area..... Beautiful days and zero nights. Wonderful Rotarians enjoying their Rotary....
Consider a make up
