New member of the Rotary Family in Coffs Harbour
Paul_Thomas Clarke President of Coffs South and Louise have a wonderful new daughter. Born last night...... Early today last day of the year.
Two lovely photos that I know will bring back memories to all of us with Children.
We need to see the photos and messages in their Post Office to celebrate the event.
Will keep you up dated as details emerge from the proud dad.

Bill Forrest 100% attendance
When you read Bills words. It is the100% enthusiasm that endears him to Rotary and Rotary to him.
If I could just have half the enthusiasm of Bill I would be a far better person.

Australian Rotary Health dinner.
This uniquely Australian and Rotary Health Research group do amazing work. All voluntary in Rotary administrators and District Governors attend AGM. This dinner we each pay to attend. Consider holding a special fundraiser to support a specific research project. Guest speakers are available across our District. Best use of resources is to get a group of Clubs to host a combined dinner and invite plenty of outside guests. We can nominate exactly which research project and institution gets the funding.

Fellow Rotarians this is what Rotary is all about. You may have seen Failyne on TV. Romac enabled the operation for her herniated brain.

Coffs Harbour Rotary Club Bulletin for 21st November 2012
The Coffs Harbour meeting this week was at the Coffs Harbour Clay Target Shooting Club. More a Recreational than a Vocational night. It certainly attracted a good number of prospective new members. There were no formalities such as reports, Sergeants Session or Guest Speaker. In total there were about 30 attendees.
Shooting Club Members supervised and directed the activities for the night in an efficient and safe manner. All of the shooting part of the evening started early (no alcohol allowed before or during actual shooting) and was over in about an hour. Everybody participating had 5 skeet shots and 5 trap shots. I don't know the difference.
There were a few standout shooters but generally we were pretty lousy shots.
The final winners after a shoot-off were:
1st: Brian Franklin
2nd: Adam Sherwell
3rd: Greg Dunlop
Special prizes: Best Female: Lisa Smith
Wooden Spoon: Tim Alexander
There were a large number of furry spectators (about 200 kangaroos) who nonchalantly observed proceedings without a care in the world either from the noise or our presence.
A tremendous BBQ plus salad buffet was put on by the Target Club and their volunteers.
President Wayne thanked the organizers and the members who attended.
Best regards,
Grahame
