Moree Rotary Club celebrating Rotary Day

Dear Brian,

The Rotary Club of Moree celebrated Rotary International Day on February the 23rd 2013 by planting a bottle tree in the newly established Moree Botanic Gardens. We hope to continue this practice each year eventually having a Rotary Grove in the Gardens. The photos are of President David Gall, Secretary Mary Reiner and Moree Garden Club representative Helen Officer at the planting.

On behalf of the Moree Rotary Club

Kind regards

Lou Gall

Your personal Invitation to the Celebration Conference from DG Brian

Hello Presidents from the Cluttered desk of the District Governor Brian.

This is the 3rd e-mail I was telling you about ... It has been sent to your Club Secretary to send around your Members.

This is special for you.

Please ensure your Club have the opportunity to see it .... register now for the Celebration Conference and in your case let Ray know if you are sharing Drinks with Heather and myself.

If you click on the link below you will receive your personal invitation to the Celebration Conference in April this year ( Weekend of the 13th and 14th).

I have realised that many Club Members have never been to a gathering like this and have no idea what to expect. So any computer with speakers attached will play the special message Heather and I have recorded for you.

Please send around to your Members ... include the link in your Bulletins ... whatever you need to do to allow each member to view.

Be sure when you forward on this note the link below must stay BLUE to be active.

Registrations are online at the Rotary district website or details from your Club Secretary or President.

A wonderful exchange student leaves Gloucester Club

Our Josie leaves us to return home.
When I spoke this morning to her she was of mixed emotions..... Suffice to say..... If the flight was delayed a few months......it would be all good. Brian

Tamworth West and Manilla joint meeting

New Member Grahame being inducted at Tamworth West. I got to say a few words and reminded both Clubs that we need to look after each other in Rotary. It is wonderful to introduce new members to our wonderful organisation but we need to make sure our existing Members are feeling rewarded for their efforts over years of service.

As usual it is the happy blend of new and experience that keeps our Clubs vibrant.

Good Rotary

Macksville new membership information evening and presentation of Paul Harris Recognition

Macksville had a great night to showcase their club. They met at a different venue which had a great atmosphere and some wonderful guests who were shown many of the Rotary programmes.

Highlight of the night was to present Philip Argue with a recognition of a lifetime of dedication to educating youth.

I know Phil as a friend and past workmate .... I hope one day to pin a different badge on his lapel.
